NerdForm Labs LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Aquaria mobile application ("App"). Aquaria is an interactive aquarium encyclopedia — a reference and planning tool for fishkeeping hobbyists. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

Aquaria does not require you to create an account. There is no sign-up, sign-in, or profile of any kind — you can use the entire App, including your wishlist and "My Fish" list, without ever providing us any identifying information.

1.2 Contact / Support Messages

If you use the "Contact us" feature (in Settings or from the "Can't find your fish?" card on Discover), we receive:

• The message you type (feature request, bug report, question, or missing-species request)
• Your email address, only if you choose to include it so we can reply

If you leave the email field blank, we have no way of identifying you or responding — the message is simply informational feedback to us.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Name, account credentials, or any sign-up information
• Precise location data
• Contacts or address book
• Camera or photo library access
• Advertising identifiers or third-party tracking data
• Payment information (Aquaria has no purchases)

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Your wishlist, the fish you mark as owned (with quantities), and your language and unit preferences (cm/inches, °C/°F, liters/gallons) are stored locally on your device so the App remains usable across sessions. This data is never transmitted to us and is removed automatically if you uninstall the App or clear its storage.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services:

5. Data Storage and Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) for the Contact form
• No server-side database of our own — we don't store more than we need to answer your message

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Ask us what information (if any) we hold about you.
• Deletion: Ask us to delete any message you've sent us, by contacting us at contact@nerdform.org.
• Opt-Out: Simply don't include your email when contacting us, or don't use the Contact feature at all — every other part of the App works without sending us anything.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through the Contact form, please contact us at contact@nerdform.org and we will delete it.

8. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

• Right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used.
• Right to request deletion of personal information.
• Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

9. International Users

The App is operated from the United States. If you use the App from outside the U.S., data you send us through the Contact form may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Contact feature, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add optional cloud sync or account features in the future. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
